Below you will find our large collection of woodworking videos covering everything from power tools to techniques. To use this library select the tab that corresponds to the area you are interested in, then select the specific video you would like to view. The video player will buffer 30 seconds of video before it starts so there will be a short delay before you see anything. Please note due to the large size of these files you will need a high speed connection, no dial-up for this!
If the video starts and stops it means there is a connection speed issue somewhere. As a workaround you can press pause on the player which will allow it to continue to buffer more of the video, you can see the status of the video download in the information bar just above the video. After pausing for a short time press play again and the video will resume, hopefully without stopping.
These videos were mostly created by Woodsmith magazine and made available via podcasts on their website. They are recordings of training classes held at their main campus in Des Moines Iowa. We downloaded those videos and enhanced them through a series of video filters which increased the video size and quality compared to just 'zooming'. Although not DVD or even sVHS quality they do offer overall good visual quality and offer a wealth of woodworking information.
Most videos run about 1 hr so select your video, get your tasty beverage, sit back and enjoy!
